Stage 1 information for services and organisations

Stage 1 of this research study involves services and organisations distributing research information to people who have attended a Care (Education) and Treatment Review within the past year so that they can then tell us about their experiences and opinions of this process. We would like to hear from:

• People with learning disabilities including children aged 5 and over
• Autistic people including children aged 5 and over
• Families and carers
• Care (Education) and Treatment Review panel members
• Health Education and Social Care professionals including paid and unpaid care staff and Experts by Experience.

The main thing we would like you to do is to share information about the research with suitable people. NHS Trusts will need to formally be set up as sites by their Research and Development Department, confirming capacity and capability to support the research. Completed surveys count as accruals, with associated funding. By assisting with recruitment, you will be contributing to us better understanding what it is like to take part in Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews and how they are carried out in practice. This will then lead to us developing good practice guidance for conducting Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews and implementing outcomes.
